Congratulations!!!

Introducing Khun Adthapong Visutyothapibal, F&B Services Manager. After graduating from Michigan, USA, Khun Adthapong started his hospitality career at a restaurant in the USA. He then decided to return to his home country and took the position of Director of Restaurants with Banyan Tree Bangkok. After that, he joined SPR where we are all happy to have him on board.

Khun Jitsak (Gino) Lim-Pakornkul was in the original SPR pioneer team. He began his career here as a Rooms Division Manager. Based on his excellent performance, he was promoted to Director of Rooms, then Executive Assistant Manager. He was appointed as Senior Manager, Guest Experience & Standards, Four Points by Sheraton Starwood Asia-Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pte Ltd., as of May 26, 2008. Even though we have lost a great associate to another team, we wish him every success in all his future endeavors.

Personalize Guest Experiences

SPR continues its tradition of innovating creative events to surprise and delight our guests. Among our current exciting themes are Pirate Night and Roman Night. Both of them are received great feedbacks from the guests. The team will continue working extra hard to surpass our guests expectations in this important area of business and that includes coming up with more great new themes.

What a wedding!!!

The F&B team did a magnificent job when SPR took weddings as its celebration theme of the month. SPR associates voted the occasion one of the most creative events ever. Every department received a surprise wedding invitation card a week in advance. On the day, the Associate Dining Room was turned into a wedding party with all wedding decorating items such as flowers, wedding cake, the bride and groom, wedding videos and so on. Everyone was entertained by a professional MC from F&B and the whole lunchtime period was filled with great memories.

One Department One Product (ODOP)

SPR held its first ODOP event on April 30, 2008, where associates could sell their products to each other and guests. The product range included handmade-jewelry, food, drinks, souvenirs and more. Every department generously supported the event and the enjoyment shared by all continued until the late afternoon.

Belong to SPR Family

SPR continually practices five essential human truths: to be understood, to belong, to feel special, to be in control, and to reach our potential in all our undertakings.

Our associates may sometimes forget what they are told, but they never forget how we make them feel. That’s why we always treat them as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Care for Community

Led by our energetic GM, Mr. Dietmar Koegerl, SPR associates generously contributed their time to clean SPR’s private beach on May 14, 2008, and Pai Island on May 22 2008. Let’s all conserve the environment so it lasts forever. If we save our neighborhood we can save the planet, all with our own hands!
We make the difference!
