Part of the letter from Jacqueline dated (23 July 2007):

Dear Jitsak,

How nice to hear from you so soon! We had a very good trip back home, we felt sorry to leave Pattaya, this was one of our nicest holidays ever. And we will come back for sure, because I made an agreement with one of your employees to run the Marathon……so I have to start seriously training for that!

Our last day in Pattaya was a little bit sad, we did have the feeling that the people from the hotel also were sad and that made it very special, normally the crew of an hotel is friendly but your people were like family!

On our way back to the airport the children were crying, Geert had a very special feeling with one of the boys on the beach from the security (Lick)

Once again I would like to tell you that we appreciate the way in witch you treated us.

Specially I would like to thank you again for the way you all took care while I was having the food poisoning and in the hospital.

I hope you will say hello to everybody and also tell them that we really miss you all, I just made some tea, like Wiwat made for me while I wasn’t feeling to well, just to have the good feeling back!

I also hope that kitty feels better now (she knows….)please give her my love.

I wish you all the best and hope to see you next year!

Lieve groeten uit Holland

Sheraton Pattaya Celebrates “Warm, Cormforting, Connections” with Their Branded Property Newsletter

The Sheraton Pattaya Resort in Thailand has done a terrific job of branding their internal associate communications and has brought the service culture to life in their stories and activities. This is just another wonderful example of the great things that are happening in our properties around the globe that bring Sheraton’s core values to life. Congratulations to General Manager David Cuddon, Jitsak Lim-Pakornkul and the team from the Sheraton Pattaya resort for initiating this great way to bring training out of the ‘classroom’ and begin creating and celebrating branded experiences.

Honesty Award - Shining Star of June 2007

“Khun Lampang Sutisom / Room Attendant ”

Khun Lampang checked mini bar status in room 536 in which Mr Maes Dirk already checked out. She found money on the coffee table value Baht 1,220. Then, she called HK office and brought the money to the office without any hesitation. Khun Ratchadaporn contacted the guest to return him the money. Finally, it was found that Mr Dirk left that money with a reason that he was very appreciated with the excellence housekeeping service i.e cleanliness during his stay. He was also pleased with the associate’ s honesty which he has never experienced before.
