Happy Dining by Guest Services!



June 22, 2007 - The Sherabration of June arrived with the elegant & warm "Lanna" (Northern Thai) theme dining in our Associates' Dining rooms. The Guest Services team connected all SPR family members to the Northern Thai cultures. All Guest Services team members were dressed up in typical "Lanna" styles, welcoming all associates and the Management with sumptous array of Northern foods. The entertainments and fun activities added "SMILES" to all participants.

All we can say is that we truly feel belong!

Sheraton Pattaya Resort proudly launches the ABC's of Housekeeping!


During 14-16 June 2007, Khun Ann - Saovanee Sillapachan - our Executive Housekeeper has attended the "ABC's of Housekkeping" Program at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok. She found that this program is very beneficial and most useful in developing her Housekeeping team to deliver the very best service and product to our guests. She strongly believes that the ABC's of Housekeeping program will drive great scores for Guests' and Associates' Satisfaction.

The official launch of ABC's Housekeeping and training program will be started from July 2007 onwards.

จริงๆแล้วก็คือ Margarita Pizza นั่นเอง เป็น Pizza พื้นบ้านของประเทศอิตาลี ส่วนประกอบไม่ซับซ้อน มีแค่แป้งที่เรียกว่า Pizza Dough, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese และใบโหระพาเท่านั้น

สำหรับ Margarita Pizza ในแบบของ INFINITI ที่ “เชฟหนุ่ม” Sous Chef ประจำ Beach Building สร้างสรรให้มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะที่ไม่เหมือนที่อื่นคือ นอกจากจะราดด้วย Tomato Sauce ตามปกติแล้ว เรายังมี Sun Dried Tomato ซึ่งเป็นมะเขือเทศอบแห้งหมักในน้ำมันมะกอกที่เป็นสูตรเฉพาะของ INFINITI เพิ่มเข้าไป นอกจากนั้นเพื่อให้ Pizza ของเรามีรสชาติที่เข้มข้นเป็นเอกลักษ์ตามแบบฉบับของ INFINITI เชฟหนุ่มยังผสม Parmesan Cheese และใบโหระพาหั่นฝอยเข้าไปคลุกเคล้ากับ Mozzarella Cheese ก่อนที่จะโรยไปบนแผ่น Pizza แล้วนำเข้าเตาอบแบบพิเศษที่ก่อขึ้นมาเพื่อใช้อบ Pizza โดยเฉพาะ จนกระทั่งได้ Pizza ที่เหลืองหอม จากนั้นก็เพิ่มกลิ่นหอมด้วย Extra Virgin Olive Oil อีกนิดหน่อยเพื่อให้หอมกรุ่นน่ารับประทานยิ่งขึ้น หืมม..น่าทานใช่มั้ยล่ะ???

In the morning of Saturday May 12th around 9:30 am while everyone was busy doing the farewell to the Westin Langkawi’s Leadership group, there was a guest from room 112, Dr. Kwanchai Pairojsakul from MSD (Thailand) Pharmaceutical group coming to the lobby and reported that the tire of his car was flattened. The Guest Service Agent tried to help contact a few garages in the city but no one was willing to come for the service. Until late morning, Khun Worawit reached the scene and decided to offer assistance by taking the flat tire to downtown and taking it back to the guest. Dr. Kwanchai was very impressed with his exemplary service and thanked the resort for taking great cares of him.

เช้าวันเสาร์ที่ 12 พฤษภาคม เวลาประมาณ 9.30 น. ขณะที่ทุกคนกำลัีงยุ่งอยู่กับการต้อนรับทีมงานของ Westin Langkawi ซึ่งเป็นแขกของเราพักอยู่ห้อง 112 Dr. ขวัญชัย ไพโรจน์สกุล จาก MSD (Thailand) Pharmaceutical Group มาแจ้งที่ล๊อบบี้ว่า ยางล้อรถแบน เราพยายามติดต่ออู่ซ่อมรถอยู่หลายแห่งแต่ก็ไม่มีที่ไหนมาซ่อมให้ จนกระทั่งเกือบเที่ยงวัน คุณวรวิทย์ ตัดสินใจเสนอเข้าช่วยเหลือโดยการนำรถไปซ่อมในเมืองและนำกลับมาให้แขก

Around midnight, Mr. Nirut drove from his home to have laundry service for Mr. Andreas Schimkus guest room no. 311 who needed to leave to Bangkok before 5:00 am for his meeting at 8:00am. Mr. Nirut was actually working in the morning shift, however with his great cares for guests and business, even though the resort does not provide an overnight laundry service, but Mr. Nirut decided to come back to resort during the night to complete the request for Mr.Andreas .

เวลาประมาณเที่ยงคืน คุณนิรุต แผนกซักรีด ได้ขับรถมาจากบ้าน เพื่อมารีดชุดให้กับ มิสเตอร์ แอนเดรีย ห้อง 311 ที่ต้องรีบออกจากที่นี่ก่อนตีห้า เพื่อให้ทันการประชุมที่กรุงเทพ ตอนแปดโมงเช้า ทั้งๆที่ตารางทำงานของคุณนิรุตคือช่วงเช้า

K. Sutas Kattiya (Room Maid) found a basket containing cosmetic and money 57,000 Baht in front of #118, 119. With his honesty, he immediately reported this to Executive Housekeeper and Manager on Duty for further investigation and recording in the lost property log. 5 hours later, Ms. Hataichanok #119 (move from 119) contacted the Front Desk to report the loss of her items. After verifying all the evidences and information given from guest, we finally returned the money to Ms. Hataichanok. She was very happy after finding her lost items and thanked the associate for his honesty.

A Short Story to Remind Us that "We Belong Together!"

I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply. He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you." We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye. But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. "Move out of the way," I said with a frown. He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken. While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said, "While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse. Go and look on the kitchen floor, You'll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes" By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt by his bed; "Wake up, little one, wake up," I said. "Are these the flowers you picked for me?" He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. I picked 'em because they're pretty like you. I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue." I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way." He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway." I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue." FAMILY Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story? Do you know what the word FAMILY means? ทำให้ผมคิดถึงขอบฟ้ายามเย็นที่ทอแสงประกายอยู่บนท้องทะเลสีเขียวเหมือนก้าน Celery บวกกับฟากฟ้าที่สดใสเหมือน Absolute ทีผมได้ผสมลงไปในแก้ว เพิ่มความกลมกล่อมด้วย Brown Sugar และ Lime อีกหน่อยเพียงแค่นี้ Cocktail ของผมก็มีสีสันบวกกับกลิ่นหอมของก้าน Celery เหมาะสำหรับค่ำคืนที่แสนสบายและผ่อนคลายที่ Infiniti



Cranberry juice makes me think about the horizon at twilight dyeing upon the green sea which looks like the stem of celery surrounded by the clear sky just like Absolute which I put in the glass, adding with a little brown sugar and lime. That’s enough to make my cocktail lively with the scent of celery. Perfect to make me relax with the wonderful night at Infiniti.
